RVCF intends have positive impact on the environment and society through its portfolio companies.
Adoption of ESG standards is more likely to give enhanced financial returns. RVCF will not invest in companies engaged in the following:
- Hazardous chemicals, pharmaceuticals, pesticides and wastes
- Endangered or protected wildlife or wildlife products
- Production of, or trade in, radioactive materials
- Prostitution and pornography
- Any businesses, if any of the following activities represents a substantial portion of such business:- Alcoholic beverages (except beer and wine) - gambling, gaming casinos and equivalent enterprises; - tobacco or tobacco related products.
